Celestia is the place where the goddesses live. In the manga, they are shown to be here only in a flashback when Histoire explains that she kicked them out for being lazy and not willing to do any work.

According to Histoire, goddesses on Celestia never age. This explains why the goddesses "look young for their age". Goddesses in Celestia also never get sick.

Celestia is above the four landmasses of the human world. It can only be accessed by certain beings like the goddesses or a special means like the four ancient heroes' weapons.

From what is seen of Celestia, it seems to have a typical heaven theme in its architecture and stained glass windows. From its appearance in Hyperdimension Neptunia, Celestia seems to be surrounded by castle-like structures that are styled in neo-Gothic architecture.

Hyperdimension NeptuniaEdit

Long before the four goddesses' existence, four ancient heroes were able to gain access to Celestia to defeat Arfoire. Their weapons act as the keys to unlocking a way from the human realm to Celestia.

After the four goddesses arrive in the human world, Arfoire takes over Celestia and uses it as her base of operations. Neptune and the party end up having to gather the weapons of four ancient heroes in order to open up a pathway to Celestia, where they confront and finally defeat Arfoire.

Hyperdimension Neptunia mk2Edit

Celestia doesn't make an appearance in Hyperdimension Neptunia mk2, nor it was directly mentioned in any way. An accessory, Celestia Bangle, pays homage to the place's name.

Hyperdimension Neptunia VictoryEdit

During a hacking incident in Lastation, Anonydeath threaten Noire by making up a lie that he will upload images of Noire's alone time from throughout the game, if he is to die and move on to Celestia. He used the opportunity to escape, leaving Noire ashamed.

Real life analogue Edit

Celestia is a metaphor for esteem. [citation needed] At the beginning of the game the four goddesses inhabit it, but because they disobey Histoire (prudence) they are cast out. This fall of the goddesses is emblematic of the decline of the Big Four console makers in the hearts of gamers as the Millenial generation matured and grew critical of the industry's self-protective (and often exploitative) method. Their replacement is Arfiore, the industry's outcasts who offer an alternative from the goddesses' hegemony, but at the price of certain decline.

  • Celestia is a common place in Nippon Ichi games.
  • The name Celestia comes from the word Celestial which can be referred to as Heaven.
